INTRODUCTION

Anugraha Charitable Trust is registered as a charitable Trust in 1997. In a short span of five years the Trust is able to render yeomen service especially to the poor and downtrodden in the society.

MISSION

© To provide food, cloth and shelter.

© To give aid for education.

© To give aid for medicine.

© To give aid for marriage and other social functions.

© To establish and run Senior Citizens' Care Homes.

 © To organize camps, seminars, research activities etc in achieving the , above objectives.

MAJOR ACTIVITIES

Distribution of books and other study kits for the students (more than 400 students are getting the benefit every year).

 Distribution of cloth to the needy above 50 years of age (yearly more than 80 people are    benefited under the  scheme)

SCIENTIFIC STUDY TO IDENTIFY THE MOST URGENT NEEDS

Anugraha Charitable Trust with the active co-operation of other like minded organizations conducted a survey among the most backward and financially poor families in Cochin area to identify their priority needs and to serve them. The result of the survey is as follows :-

ACTION REPORT ON THE SURVEY

- 35 beneficiaries who identified "Cloth" as one of the priority areas were provided with two sets of dress on 16 September 2002

-16 beneficiaries who identified "Food" as priority are provided with one meal every day under "Annadana Yagna" since 22^nd September 2002.

VISION

-To fulfill the identified needs on long term basis.

-To identify and implement self-sustaining and job-oriented programmes.

-To start a Senior Citizen Care Home in Cochin Corporation.

-To work in unison with like minded organizations, NGO's and Government in bringing succour to the needy.
